Answered by Dr. Dariush Saghafi (32 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Please clarify what you mean

Detailed Answer:
Good evening. My name is Dr. Saghafi and I am an adult neurologist and see many patients with MS of different forms. I'm afraid your statement is unclear to me since I do not understand if you are speaking about symptoms you may be having or you are referring to someone else.

It's not so much the doctor "finding" symptoms of MS in the patients since ANY symptom you can imagine can be caused by MS.

Symptoms such as numbness, tingling, pain, dizziness, spinning sensations or vertigo, clumsiness, weakness, paralysis, blurriness of vision, pain while moving the eyes, loss of vision in one eye suddenly, twitching of one eye or another, inability to move a particular eye all the way across its normal path and jiggling in the fellow eye, difficulty swallowing, incontinence of bowel and bladder, and as you can imagine the list goes on and I can continue to write until you will literally get tired of reading; forgetfulness, loss of concentration, lack of attention, difficulty understand what you are reading, inability to think of words, or even say them, or saying the wrong words, etc. can all be caused by MS.

The patient must tell the doctor what they are feeling, since when, and then, there has to be an examination, and most of the time there have to be imaging studies and blood tests before anybody can make a diagnosis of MS.

Therefore, I will let you clarify what you are really looking for and to expand the horizons a little bit as to what you either have or what someone else may have in terms of their symptoms.

I hope these suggestions and opinions satisfactorily address your question and give some additional information that you can discuss with the doctor for consideration. If so, may I ask your favor of a HIGH STAR RATING with some written feedback?

Also, if there are no other comments, may I ask you not forget to CLOSE THE QUERY on your end so the question can be transacted and archived for further reference by colleagues as necessary?

You are invited to direct more comments or inquiries to me in the future by going to my web address at:

I would be honored to answer you quickly and comprehensively.

Please keep me informed as to the outcome of your situation.

The query has required a total of 11 minutes of physician specific time to read, research, and compile a return envoy to the patient.
