Brief Answer:
Probably you don't have fibromyalgia

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for posting on HCM.
Fibromyalgia is a syndrome having multiple symptoms together like widespread pain in body, reduced pain threshold or increased tenderness, fatigue, anxiety or depression etc.
It is more of a clinical finding rather than investigative diagnosis. By that I mean there is no blood test or x ray finding or anything else to prove that its fibromyalgia.
There are diagnostic criteria based on preformed protocols to clinically diagnose or suspect fibromyalgia.
Rheumatologist is the expert doctor to comment on this or diagnose this condition. If he has ruled out presence of fibromyalgia it will be unlikely that you might be having it.
As you have specified that you have osteoarthritis and degenerative joints it’s very much possible that the pain might be due to these conditions for which you are already taking required medications.
So I feel that you are not suffering from fibromyalgia as per mentioned.
I hope I have given satisfactory answer to your query, if you still have any more query kindly write back to me and I will be happy to help.
Thank you
