If the injury to brachial plexus is minor then symptoms would be-

An electric shock feeling or a burning sensation shooting down the arm.
Numbness and weakness in arm.

If the injury to brachial plexus is severe then symptoms would be-

Severe pain.
Weakness/inability to use certain muscles in hand, arm or shoulder
Complete lack of movement and feeling in arm, including shoulder and hand.
