Question: My 8 month old granddaughter was in bath tub and I went to lay her back did not realize she had a cup in her hand that had some water. She coughed a bit but that was all I am worried about her if she aspirated any fluid into her lungs. You hear about dry drowning or secondary drowning. This happened about 12:00 now is almost 4 she since has taken a nap and eaten. Should I be concerned??

Brief Answer:
Water

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.

In kids this age, anything bad that could happen would have already happened. The fact that she has continued along her day as per usual indicates that she is well and fine. There is no need for concern.
