What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Thalassemia?
Question: Hi doctor I just had a quick question. My mother in law is 52 years old and she had her ovaries removed about 10-12 years ago. She hasn't had any hormone tests in a very long time. We went to visit a gynacologist here in South XXXXXXX and she gave us a form of the hormonal tests she would need to do. However what happened was that the form got misplaced and we can't get through the doctor and wel need to do the tests tomorrow early morning. I vaguely remember there was FSH LH progesterone LH and TSH as she has underactive thyroid. I can't remember if there was other tests if u can tell me if any other tests need to be conducted. I don't know if she would need a prolactin I can't remember if it was on the form ? Pls help. Urgent

No need for progesterone in my opinion.

Thanks doctor. I don't know much about her shel go to the gyna tomorrow.
One more thing doctor I went to the gyna did the scan and Alhamdullilah everything seems normal. She asked me to do a few tests including thalessmia for me and my partner as he's father was a thalessmia carrier.
I have an eye problem where my right eye cornea is very very thin and with pressure it can rupture. I was thinking with the pressure of delivery going to the eye I was scared it could cause my eye to rupture, would it be advisable to do a c section instead?
