Brief Answer:
Symptoms of diabetes

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern.

In type 1 diabetes, patients present with symptoms in the beginning itsef. Weight loss, excess thirst, frequent urination, tiredness, breathing difficulty etc are usual symptoms in them.

Most of the times, type 2 diabetes will not have any symptoms initially. The more obvious symptoms are hunger, excessive thirst, excess urination especially at night, urinary tract infections, dry mouth, itching over body. In extreme high sugars, weight loss can happen along with excess urination.

In some people with diabetes/pre diabetes, glucose tend to drop after a carbohydrate rich meal. This is called as reactive hypoglycemia. This can cause drowsiness/sleepy after a carbohydrate rich diet.

You may need to do an oral glucose tolerence test to know further.
