What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Bursitis?

default
Posted on Tue, 30 May 2017
Question: Hello...I have a sudden pain just below the right knee (behind the knee, on the outside...almost just where the calf muscle begins)...started after sitting in a criss cross position at an event for a couple of hours. I cannot put weight on that leg and the area is tender to touch. Any suggestions? Thanks

Brief Answer:
Can be capsular inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Can be due to a minor capsular inflammation or bursitis. This will gradually subside with rest. Avoid weight bearing on the knee and do a hot compress. You can also take a mild pain killer and let it subside on its own in 3-5 days.
I hope this answers your query.
