cervical biopsy will confirm adenocarcinoma (can send the biopsy report to me); it won't give the approximate chance but a confirmatory diagnosis. Transvaginal ultrasound will also help with final diagnosis.
Looking forward to have the biopsy report or any other test report you have done so far for confirmatory conclusions. Thank you.

Hello ,
This is xxxxxxx , and it's regarding my mothers health who's my everything. My mother has IBS for the past three years and she took different tablets and and currently she's taking Ibset. But the problem looks serious , she has normal periods and have not got any issues in that. Three months back she had spotted a small amount of blood coming out of her v...na . Then she didn't get anything like that. Suddenly she got the same a month back. She tells me that whenever she tries to pass the stool hard she gets a small amount of blood after sometime through v...na. Then we consulted a gynaecologist , took MRI , ultrasound , in which the uterus endometrium seemed to be somewhat thicker. Then took blood test for CA125, CA19.9 and CEA where CEA Was alone 4.5 and others were in normal range. Then finally took the cervix and endometrium biopsy , where they have given that she might have possible adenosquamous carcinoma. I'm completely shattered because of this result. But her gynaec tells it looks like a very early stage and she has to undergo surgery. We are ready for surgery. But will it extend till chemotherapy . Because my mother is scared and because of that I'm scared and couldn't even sleep well. Please do guide me .. Is there anyway that the biopsy result would have been false ? Or at least not cancer ? Or atleast an early stage cancer ?

Brief Answer:
Early stage cervical cancer;great chances to get cured...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I am sorry for the late reply due to my XXXXXXX clinical overload.

Thank you for providing the medical reports of your mother.

I was going through them carefully and can say as following:

All the tests results are fine except for biopsy that is suggesting adenosquamous carcinoma of the cervix which has been lining on the endometrial wall.
That is the most common cancer among women and from what I've seen, it was at the early age.

It is true that although this cancer is not invasive for the moment, it can become invasive/aggressive over the years.
That's the good part of your mother's case.
This also explains why doctors have decide for chemotherapy after surgical removal as we want to make sure every single cancerous cell has been removed. So, we can ensure they won't relapse.

The presence of cancerous cells are also explaining why she is having small vaginal spotting over time.

As it is in the early stage, there is nothing you all should be worried about. She has great chances to overcome and be fine again.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further queries.
