Brief Answer:
not a direct side effect

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

This is not a known direct side effect of this medication. It can cause agitation , anxiety, fear and restlessness in some persons. It is possible , that as a consequence of these effects (feeling anxious, restless or agitated), that a person may then gouge at the skin.

If you are not feeling these symptoms (anxious, fearful, restless, agitated) and you are still having the urge to go at your skin, then you may want to consider seeing your doctor for an assessment to :
(1) make sure that there is no physical cause eg itching, rash, abnormal nerve sensations
(2)if physical causes have been ruled out, consider an emotional or psychological cause of this symptom

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
