What Are The Side Effects Of I-pill?
Question: Hello doctor...in Feb my periods date is 20nd Feb. I postponed periods by using pills (2-4 days)due to my marriage. Then I got my periods on 24th Feb. On 3rd march I used ipills for birth control. After that I didn't my periods still. I already take home based pregnancy test and result is negative. Then what is reason of delay periods?what should I do next? Please suggest me.

Since your urine pregnancy test is negative, pregnancy is ruled out.
I pill is a hormonal pill containing progesterone and has a common side effect of delaying the next period by 1-2 weeks.
I would suggest you to wait for the periods for next 7-10 days, and still if you don't get your periods then repeat the urine pregnancy test to confirm any delayed conception if it has occurred.
Moreover, delayed periods can be present in hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism also.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN if you don't get your periods in next 10 days and get properly examined, investigated and treated.
