Brief Answer:
Cold turkey withdrawal leads to adverse effect

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Stopping trazodone cold turkey is not wise and it should be tapered 10 % of the dose slowly over a period of every 2 to 3 weeks. Stopping it suddenly can have adverse effects, although not lethal but bothersome.

Commonly reported withdrawal symptoms of trazodone withdrawal are anger, depression, mood swings, anxiety, chest tightness, crying spells, depersonalisation, dizziness, disorientation, insomnia, nausea vomiting, sleep problems, suicidal thoughts etc.

Talk to your doctor and let them help you in this regard. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Regards
Khan
