What Are The Side Effects Of Topomax?
Question: I started taking Topomax about 3 months ago and started having problems with lights seeming too bright, and blurry. It has helped me lose weight which is great, but now I am having trouble driving at night and am worried.
Also for the past few weeks my ears won't stop ringing and some noises at work cause pain in my ears, that didn't happen in the past. A few days ago I noticed that I can't hear as well out of the left ear. If people are standing on my left side I often ask them to repeat themselves and the other day someone was standing not far behind me and it just sounded all garbled. I have never had any ear infections or anything like that.
Is the Topomax causing all of this? If I stop taking it will it go away? Should I go see my doctor?
