Question: I was on 112.5 of effexor xr. Upped to 150 two days ago. I feel very restless and jittery like I can't sit still. Will this feeling likely go away?

Brief Answer:
It will.....However, inform your doctor about this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this restlessness and irritability that you have reported. This is a recognized side effect of effexor. This usually happens at the beginning of the treatment. I will recommend that you keep your doctor posted about this so that the side effects can be monitored for prompt action if need be. For now, there is no need to panic but know we can easily switch you unto other drugs that work in the same way as effexor if it is clearly evident that you willnot adapt to this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
