What Are The Side Effects Of Clotrimazole And Betamethasone Dipropionate ?

Question: I just accidentally brushed my teeth with clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream (usp 1%/0.05% base).

It was in my mouth for 15-20 seconds, then I spit it out. I don't think I swallowed any.

Will I die?

Relax , you won't die . First of all your exposure to the drug is very minimal so there is no chance of any systemic effects ( means effect of other parts of the body other than mouth )

The maximum that may happen is irritation of mouth , that too is quite unlikely in your case.
