Amantrel side effects: dizziness, headaches, sleep disturbances, blurred vision, nausea, constipation.
Pramipexole side effects: visual abnormalities, decreased libido, insomnia, dizziness, nausea, malaise,

Hello,
Thanks for coming back,

The mainstay of treatment of bradykinesia is a drug called levo dopa. The medications that you have mentioned are used primarily in early stages of Parkinson's and would provide only some relief in treating bradykinesia, rigidity and tremor. The treatment and dose again would vary from person to person.

If you have additional queries ,don’t hesitate to ask.

Doctor
please let me know, specifically, out of these three given medicines i.e. Amantrel, Pramipex and Rasalect, which medicine is used for tremors, rigidity and bradykinesia and what will happen if the dosage of each of these medicine is reduced?

thank you

Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
All these 3 drugs help in the early stages of Parkinson's. So each of them is active against tremor, bradykinesia and rigidity, although to a variable extent. These are motor problems and these drugs would be effective against all these motor disturbances seen in parkinson's.
Reducing the dose can potentially worsen the symptoms. However, the dosage needs to be decided by balancing both effects and side effects. That balancing exercise needs to be done by a neurologist with whom you're in touch.
If you have additional queries, don’t hesitate to ask.
Best Regards,
Dr.Mihail
