What Are The Side Effects Suboxone And Xanax?
Question: Is it unethical to tell my boyfriend's therapist that I am worried about him? he is required to take a drug test once a month because he is on suboxone. years ago his urine was coming up dirty for benzos. his therapist said if it kept happening she would sent him to reahb. eventually he learned how to take it w/o it interfering with his drug test, as they all do. He has turned into a monster overnight because of xanax. I had to stop letting him use my car and i had to move out. This shift seemed to happen overnight I also feel he might be bipolar. no one but me is going to try and help. and yes, i know he has to want to help himself.

he has a psychiatrist who prescribes and a therapist who he has not seen in months. even though they are located in the same facility. (for heroin recovery 9 years ago)
He used to treat my car with so much respect and then he took xanax before he came to get me at work one day. he had someone in the car whom we both agreed to keep out of our lives. I found out later that this person drove my car and my boyfriend didn't even remember. we had two days of him not remembering things. He fell asleep for two hours in a bowl of cereal. when I wanted to talk about all these things he became nasty in a way i have never seen before. like I was a bad guy.calling me names and pointing out my faults.
doctors will not prescribe him benzos because they make him get in trouble. he sent me awful texts with disgusting content. he lost two of his best friends for the same reason. this is not him. he later said it was to hurt me. we talked yesterday and he seems to think we'll be okay, but he just doesn make sense sometimes.
a few weeks prior to this he was watvhing videos about the illuminti and exorcism. he talks super fast and he had verbally aggressive outbursts. he blames being cooped up in the winter.he also sells his pills when he is out of work and sometimes shorts himself. he does not take his neurontin, vitiril, sboxone, and adderal which he does not need.

Brief Answer:
Please speak to the psychiatrist
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I am sorry you are going through all this. His behavior is a cause for concern. What is striking here is that these are not the usual side effects of Xanax. People on Xanax are expected to be either sleepy or drowsy. The fact that he is aggressive makes me think he is probably on other medications, probably amphetamines.
Please approach his psychiatrist and speak to him in detail about his behavior. I would like him to undergo a tox screen as soon as possible.
Regards

when he took the xanax he passed out in his cereal bowl for two hours. I have never seen him this intoxicated. I do believe there is more going on like you said. I am afraid that if I tell his doctor then they will tell him I had something to do with it. our relationship has already suffered so much, can i do this with confidentiality? and how do I approach it?
Brief Answer:
Over dosed on Xanax
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Please speak to his doctor that's more important than anything right now and thats in best interest as well.
There is little doubt that if one has passed out on his cereal then he has overdosed on xanax or mixed it with some other substance
