I have come across many patient who have accidentally brushed their teeth with canesten Clotrimazole antifungal ointment . It is not a serious concern and you have done the right thing and you have gargled with water and brushed your teeth with tooth paste.

No risk of acute intoxication is seen as it is unlikely to occur following inadvertent oral ingestion. There is no specific antidote or any medication that is required to be taken. Please do not worry.
