Hello and thanks for query.

Most complications of rib fractures happen immediately however in long term, complications are mostly due to over use of pain killers.

These pain killers can damage your kidneys in longterm and can also cause stomach ulcers.

A person may develop chronic off and on pains in ribs.

As far as migraine headache is concerned there are no longterm effects except a recent finding which suggests that women may have more chances of cardiovascular problems after the age of 45 years.

I hope to have answered your query and you are welcome for any further query.

Thanks and best of luck.
