Question: Hi we were at a bonfire last nite with our kids who are 4 and 7....about 15 ft away maybe. As we all sat there eating and chatting I turn to notice someone not very smart had put a painted snoopy house, size of a dog house in the fire which was painted red with painted snoopy on top. I was in shock as this was suppose to be for burning old dried up xmas trees and some pallets. I knew it wasn't good to put painted wood on and didn't want my kids breathing those fumes but also did not want to make a scene or scare the kids. They went and played around the property from time to time too during the burning of the little house but would come back to check it out.Then people decided to cook smores not too soon after that whole thing had burnt down a bit, and my husband without my knowledge (since my coworker took some of us up to see her house since we had never been) cooked some with the kids. My daughter apparently had a couple bites of the smore, but my son didn't want his luckily. I am worried as I don't even know what type of paint was on that house even though, I am sure any paint is horrible. I am concerned for the ramifications to my children's health and how it could have affected them now and in the long term. Any info would be greatly appreciatied. Thank you.
