Brief Answer:
Chances of catching infection depends on that persons infectivity state

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I share your concern
There are chances of infection like HIV Hepatitis B and C virus if that person is source of infection.

Immediate management is to washing and let bleeding to continue from that particular point for some time.

Reporting to the occupational hazards department.

Ultimate management depends upon that persons susceptibility of having infection which can be confirmed/ ruled out by taking his sample with his permission and sending it to do these tests for HIV and HBV and HCV infection.

Here I would like to know further information to guide you even better
When did you sustain this needle injury?
Any history of bleeding from the site
If Anybody else other than that particular person has used the same needle?

You need not to there are very less chances of spreading of infection so you need not to worry at all.

Please write back to me with these details so that I will be able to tell you more accurately.
Wish you good health
