Lone function of Gall bladder is to concentrate the bile secreted from the liver. Concentrated Bile is needed for fat digestion. In case gall bladder is removed, there could be improper fat digestion for first few days, later the liver itself will take over the work of releasing concentrated bile. This way there would be no problems in fat digestion further in future.
