Hello,
Adverse drug effects of ambien while just taking the drug can range from-
- dizziness
-altered thought pattern
-ataxia
-impaired judgement and reasoning
-sometimes hallucination
-poor motor coordination
-sometimes imapired sleep when stopped
-rarely- changes in libido
-and increased appetite

Usually withdrawal side effects of the drug can be in form of-
--headaches, nausea, vomitings, amnesia, changes in libido, increased impulsivity and anger & altered mood.
