Hi there.

Since how many years your husband has diabetes and since when he is on Spironolactone?
Please go and see a Urologist as you have not mentioned what was the reason for starting the tablet Spironolactone for him. If it was for BP, it is not the drug of choice for people with diabetes to start with. It can be the reason for urination. But 'not feeling' the urge is something a Urologist must check as this condition is called ' urinary incontinence'. The doctor will also check his prostrate. He/she will rule out any acute infection of the urinary tract also.
Please get back for any related query. Take care.
