Brief Answer: PCOS and accompaniments Detailed Answer: Dear XXXX Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and going through your Ultrasonography report: it is mentioned findings are suggestive of PCOS [polycystic ovarin syndrome] 1. while treating PCOS, one has to check associated Thyroid Profile as under active thyroid can be one cause and effect of PCOS. [have you checked with the same] 2. Associated hormonal profile [estrogen and progesterone] : was gynecological examination/check up been done?? 3. since there is associated High blood glucose level [diabetes] due to insulin resistance in such patients, have you checked for Blood Sugar Level?? 4. any family history of PCOS?? 5. any associated features of PCOS like: excess hairs, oligomenorrhea [irregular menses], change in voice, weight gain? Please revert back with following clarifications so that specific management [dietary regime+ life style changes] along with Ayurveda ( Medicines+ Panchkarma) can be initiated.
