Tubectomy Done. Having Regular Sexual Intercourse. Missing Period. Chances Of Pregnancy?

Question: My partner has had tubectomy done in 2005 she is 47 years old. We have regular intercourse for the past one year . twice or thrice a week. She has missed her mens cycle and it is over a month. Can she be pregnant ?
We have not yet done the pregrancy test ?

Chances of her being pregnant at 47 , after a tubectomy are very remote.
However, rarely pregnancy does occur after tubectomy, although the chances are less than 1%.
Also, at 47 , most probably she would be experiencing peri menopausal changes, and hence she could be missing her periods.
If she has regular cycles, then please take a urine pregnancy test to confirm.
If cycles have been irregular, please consult a Gynecologist to confirm the diagnosis.
