Trying to become pregnant and having PCOS. On gonadil and M2 tone syrup. Can i take metformin?

I have PCOS.. I wanna become pregnant.. Doctor adviced to have Gonadil and M2 Tone syrup.. Still not pregnant.. Can i have Metformin?
