Question: Hello dr, i wish to know dat if der is unprotected sex and if the man ejaculates in the vagina ,can taking unwanted 72 help in not getting pregnant? And how many of dese tablets to be taken nd how many days...? Thank you

Taking a single dose of Unwanted 72 pill within few hours (maximum by 72 hours) after unprotected sex should prevent pregnancy in most women. It should be taken as early possible after unprotected sex for best results. You should not be taking Unwanted 72 unless in an emergency situation. Taking it regularly can cause problems like irregular periods and cysts in ovary. This is because it contains high dose of hormones. Taking Unwanted 72 does not give protection from pregnancy due to sexual intercourse for the rest of the cycle. So please use barrier methods like condoms if you have sex during the rest of the cycle. In many women, taking Unwanted 72 can cause early or delayed bleeding for up to the next two cycles.
