Hi,
Thanks for query.
You have started pill on 22nd XXXXXXX Ideally you should take it up to 12 the July & then you get bleeding after 4-5 days of stopping ie on 17 th of July.
You have bleeding on 27 th XXXXXXX no problem if you have taken regular pill but if you have missed it & if you will not get your bleeding after 17 th of July then you should go for pregnancy test.
I think if you have taken pills regularly you need not to worry for pregnancy as withdrawn bleeding happens while taking pills.
There should not be any signs of pregnancy now. thanks again

Hi,Thanks again.

As you have taken pills for few days but that is just after your last bleed.that's why you have not get bleed after stopping pills.

Now you have a negative test today, it better to wait for 3-4 days then go for pregnancy test again. If still negative then you can take same pills 2 times a day for 3 days regularly on time i.e 6 tablets then wait for 5 days you will get withdrawal bleeding. If still you it does not bring in period the suspicion of hormonal problem increases further. Then we need to test further. Then an OBGYN is right specialist to visit.

I hope the thyroid function is frequently tested too.

thanks for your advice, i will do another test in a few days then try what you said with the pill.
if that doesnt work, what is an OBGYN? how would i get to see a specialist? does that have to be through a doctor?

finally if i only took pills for a few days, when would next bleed roughly occur?

thanks once again.

Hi,

Thanks for the follow up.

OBGYN or simply a gynecologist is a doctor who takes care of female genital disease & child birth. You can approach one such specialist through a direct appointment or through a reference of your primary care doctor.

I expect you to have withdrawal bleeding after 4-5 days upon stopping the pills; If not consult the specialist.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if you have further inquiries.

Best regards

last weekend the 7 and 8th july, i had very sore nipples, painful to touch, then pain went away eventually and i felt ok and no soreness, some online doctors said it was possible that i was pregnant, but the last time i had sex was 24th XXXXXXX
this is what has been frightening me as i thought that was too early to have any sign and having done a test on 12th july which was negative, i thought if i was pregnant it would have shown up?
i am taking a test again 16th as still no bleed is occuring but yesterday had sharp low down pain which felt like my normal period type pain, i dont know what to do?

Hi XXXXXX
Thanks for writing back.
If you have a sex on 24th XXXXXXX and your pregnancy test still shows negative result so nothing to worry about your pregnancy.
You can still wait for day or two as you have shooting lower abdominal pain you may gets your withdrawal bleed by its own.
Sore nipples are a sign of pregnancy in second to third trimester so that is not a confirmatory sign to believe.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if you have further inquiries.
