Brief Answer:
Is the Eltroxin dosage adequate?

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. You say that your Hypothyroidism has been worsening? How do you know this? Have the symptoms been getting worse? Have you had a recent Thyroid Function Test (TFT)?

A TFT is a very important test that checks how your thyroid is coping up, under the current dose of Eltroxin (in this case.. 100mcg).

If the test is showing high numbers even now, then it means that your dosage is not enough and we need to increase it. Such a situation would cause weight gain and difficulty with weight loss

So let me know what your latest TFT results are. If you haven't gotten one done recently (last 3 months), then it would be a good idea to get it done as soon as you can.
