My question is how can I improve my HDL and reducing Triglycerides as well as bad cholestrol, even my sugar levels are not under control,HBA1C is 8.4. I have done enough work out every day like 20min to 35 min in thread mill for the last 3 weeks, still the results seems not be improved.I am a foodie, and will do outside dining once or twice a week, but still under control.

These are the medicines which I take daily.

Triomega ---- 1

Night
------------------

Brief Answer:
Diet restrictions - try DASH diet

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
The fact remains that Hba1c is not a very good test for you. your weekly dietary outings will make sure that the Hba1c remains high. That's because it's a mean of sugars. So those dietary excursions can be quite misleading when reflected in the test. I would suggest testing FBS And PPBS instead.

as for cholesterol and the rest of the lipid profile, you are already on appropriate medicine. and you said that the work out is good too. So I think the only option left is diet restrictions.

I think dietary restrictions should be the answer to your query.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

best of luck. Dr Mittal.

Dear Doctor

How to improve my HDL level?
APOLIPOPROTEIN - A1 (APO-A1) seems to be less in report?
Bilirubin 0.26mg is it really lesser?

Can you just let me know, how long should I work out, Last 3 weeks I does 20-35min thread mill, is this sufficient?

Currently my weight is 91KG and height is 6'2" ,how much weight should be reduced to control sugar level?

Is there any additional food supplement is required like Cozim-Q, my friend has suggested this?

Waiting for your reply.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your response.
First, do not worry about the bilirubin levels. they are supposed to be low. So no problem.

As for amount of exercise, I think I can suggest enough exercise that spends your energy but doesn't fatigue you. 25 to 30 mins daily sounds reasonable but keep pushing the limits. The body gets used to the standard exercise. Keep changing the workout every few weeks.

As for weight , at 6 ft 2, your ideal wt is between 78 to 80 kg. Achieving this target will help.

And the supplement can be taken.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
