Brief Answer:
Time is the only treatment

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns and questions

You have recently been treated with clindamycin for dental procedures. Now after 4 courses of the antibiotic you are have a pustular drug eruption and GI bloating. The pustular drug eruption will gradually improve as long as you stay off the drug. It may take a few weeks but the eruption will resolve.

The GI bloating maybe caused by the antibiotic killing off all the good bacteria in your gut. If you have accompanying diarrhea which can be offal smelling then you may have a super infection called clostridium difficile. For this you need a different course of antibiotic called flagyl or metronidazole for 2 weeks. If you do not have the diarrhea then hopefully your own natural bacteria count will return.. To help with that try using a probiotic to help re-establish good GI health.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care questions and concerns
