Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

I would like to clarify your eating behavior a little bit more:

What are you feeling emotionally when you feel the urge to stop eating?

How many calories are you eating a day?

Are you underweight?

Do you ever purge or binge?

What is the issue that is causing you anxiety, even if you think it is minor?

Hello doctor I do eat around 2000-3000 calories a day

The problem is when it's time to eat I get anxious and really not very hungry

I would like to try anything

When I think too much about something it becomes negative and it knits up my stomach

Detailed Answer:
It sounds like anxiety is the much bigger problem. I'm now less concerned about an eating disorder.

To treat anxiety, I would either try an SSRI antidepressant such as escitalopram, or more likely to be of benefit for you would be cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This helps you examine your anxiety and work through it more effectively. I recommend finding a CBT therapist near you. Again, to treat anxiety, I would either try an SSRI antidepressant such as Escitalopram, or more likely to be of benefit for you would be cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This helps you examine your anxiety and work through it more effectively. An example of CBT in the situation you describe would be to examine exactly what is going through your mind at work, what types of anxious thoughts you are having, examining if actions such as getting up and walking around are really helping, and practice things like mindfulness, deep breathing, and progressive muscle relaxation as alternative techniques to lower anxiety.

I recommend finding a CBT therapist near you. I also offer online text-based therapy on this website via my direct private link below.
