Brief Answer:
Get some blood work done from a laboratory!

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for consulting me at virtual clinic. Your trust in HCM means a lot to me as a Physician.
I have completely reviewed your health query, and can well realize all those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will give extend my expertise to solve the problems.

Sometimes diseases don't let us maintain normal and healthy weight nevertheless we maintain a healthy lifestyle. You need to consult a Physician for a script for following tests:-
Comprehensive metabolic panel.
Thyroid profile.
HbA1c levels.
Fasting lipid profile.

Don't get depressed. We have options to get it controlled through more diet restrictions (taking 1200-1300 Kcal for a faster weight loss). For that you may curb your carbohydrate and fats part of the diet chart. You may also consult a Dietitian locally, to maintain a new diet chart according to your food choices and taste.

If not working, after 3 months, we may go for Phentermine (Duromine). It is proven to be efficacious for weight loss. But usually it is given to very obese patients. You don't have much weight (although you have not provided your height, neck circumference and waist and hips circumference to see your BMI, Body Fat Index etc to see how much you need to lose).

If nothing helps, and you are really in need to lose, we may go for surgical options like Gastric surgery or Liposuction.

Hope I answered all of your queries. Let me know if you have further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you with my expert opinion. Please don't forget to give Five Star rating to help me assist patients in a better way; and, please don't forget to 'Close This Discussion'.
For any disease you have, a timely follow-up is very necessary regarding the treatment efficacy and to see if there is a need to change the treatment options. So keep a follow up to see how you doing (Always write down my name in start of your questions at this forum & I will be with you in no time).

Brief Answer:
Don't lose hope. Consult a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon!

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back and thanks for consulting me at virtual clinic. Your trust in HCM means a lot to me as a Physician.

I feel sorry for the situation you have and want to assure not to lose hope. You have done all medically and found not working. Such cases are due to genetic predisposition and we usually indicate Tumescent Liposuction and this has proved very beneficial for 'change in lifestyle resistant' and 'genetically susceptible' patients.

I suggest you to consult a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon for evaluation and treatment options for you. This is a very successful procedure done on large scale worldwide.

Hope I answered all of your queries. Let me know if you have further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you with my expert opinion.
