Suggest Ways To Flush Out Percocet Out Of System
Question: Hi Dr. I have been taken Percocet/acetaminophen for the last 5 years. With stints of rehab and times where I didn't take anything for 6 months straight on my own then went back again. Well right now I'm going through a divorce and it's not good. I recently started taking them again and now I have a new job, Friday is my drug test the last time I took one was 1 hour ago. Now will 2 days be long enough to pass my drug test, or a day in a half since the day is almost over. Or what can I take to disepate this out of my system. I need this job very badly...and I want stop now taking pills.

I started taking them again 4 months after not taking anything at all-4 month interval went by now started again.
The strength is 0.5mg/325mg-percocet/acetaminophen
I consumed maybe 8 pills a day
No I'm not overweight.

I have gone through it
The drug perocet contains oxycodone,which has high volume of distribution(Vd) within body compartments and high protein binding capacity..Both the parameters will make the drug to stay in the body for longer duration.
Also Increased frequency of around 8 pills a day in the recent past,could have made the drug to stay much longer..I.e for weeks..
I don't think you will pass the test .
However keep encouraging intake of plain water ..Avoid taking further any pill,soda and encourage intake of orange juice ,cranberry juice which may help in excretion of the drug to some extent.
