Question: Hi,
I missed my period by 7 days, took the pregnancy test and it was positive. I need to confirm the same from a gynaecologist and I am also planning for an abortion. I am 24 years old, currently in XXXXXXX and unmarried. Please suggest me the best place to go for the consultation and abortion? Are the maternity hospitals like CloudNine and Cradle safe for such procedures ? Is there any legality involved in pursuing abortion ?

There is no legality involved. A valid consent by a woman who is fit to give consent is the important pre requisite involved. You can visit any of the gynecologist in cloud nine and cradle .
I would also suggest MS Ramaiah Medical college .

Thanks for the information. Though i am still worried related to the best hospital for MTP. I have been reviewing a lot of options. I have been seeing Genesis hospital, Queen's road as being very highly rated for such procedures. Do you have any opinion related to the same ??

As it's a very early pregnancy the rate of complications is very less.
Most common complications are retained product of conceptus and bleeding.
