Question: My daughter is 1 year old. I want to know when do we have to start her tooth brush for tooth cleaning and should we use dental cream along with it?

Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

You should have started cleaning your child's mouth even before her teeth come in. You can start caring for baby's gums right away. But at first, the care won't involve a toothbrush and toothpaste. Wipe the gums off after each feeding with a warm, wet washcloth or a dampened piece of gauze wrapped around your finger. You can also buy thimble-like, soft rubbery devices (they fit over your index finger) to use for rubbing off excess food.
