Question: I have a lot of moles on my back and chest. I bought skins tag to put on them topically. I also found something that you can drink for the removal of skin tags, but I'm not sure it's safe to drink. Is there another way I can get rid of skin tags? How do you get them? I don't remember having them as I was growing up, but they seemed to just appear when I was in my 30's. Please help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for lot of moles on your back and chest. It is sometimes very distressing for a female to have anything unusual.

As I am getting from your query that you want removal of these moles.

To tell you simply regarding moles- There are cells known as melanocytes in the skin which gives color to the skin. At some places these are naturally and genetically more in number. At these places these proliferates inside the skin and forms the moles. It may appear any time after birth but more commonly after adulthood and is more common in people with white skin.

Generally these are totally normal process and are seen as cosmetic problem only but some times these can be seen with caution. There are certain specific feature which should be known to you :

1. If you feel any itching or burning or pain in any mole.
2. Any kind irregular borders in your mole.
3. Any variegated (different) colors you observed in your mole.

So, above points should always be checked and if find something like that or anything unusual then immediately should report to the doctor and get it removed.

In many persons there are areas of mild proliferation of skin which are known as "Tags" or skin tags. These just a sign of aging process and not related to moles.

There is one more term -"Warts which are spiky or thorn like projections due to viral infection.

All of these can be removed on medical or cosmetic reason which is quite simple procedure.

There is process known as "Radio-frequency Ablation" by which any type of moles or skin tags or warts can removed easily.

Regarding something to drink or any creams for the removal of moles- It is many a times seen that these moles and tags are confused with warts. Many a times in homeopathy medicines there are certain medication used to drink for the removal of warts. These medicines are actually confused with medicines for the removal of tags and moles. So do not think of applying anything or to drink anything for the removal of your moles or tags. There will be no benefit and even can harm you.

Overall you should know that moles are simple genetical thing present in everyone but only varying in number and size from person to person and can be either left as it is or can be removed easily with radio-frequency ablation.

I hope these information's will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.

"Wish you good health"
