Brief Answer:
Weight loss

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to learn about your challenges with excess body weight.

There are some endocrine conditions ie hormonal diseases that cause weight gain. A few of them are:

1 An under active thyroid

A simple blood test called TSH can rule this out most of the time. Fasting is not required for this test.

2 Cushing's disease
A rare condition in which there are high levels of cortisol in the blood. Cortisol is a type of hormone that can cause weight gain in excessive amounts. There are several ways to test for this and one example is a midnight salivary cortisol. A sample of your saliva is used for this test.

3 Acromegaly
This is also a rare condition in which there is excess growth hormone in the body. An easy way to screen for this is to do a blood test called IGF1(Insulin like Growth Factor 1)

4 Low testosterone
This too can result in weight gain. An early morning blood test for Serum testosterone is a useful start.

Once an Endocrinologist has eliminated the possibility of hormonal problems as a possible explanation for your excess body weight then lifestyle modification is the best choice.

Consulting a dietitian to learn how to eat healthier, and increasing physical activity levels are helpful. It often helps to get a personal trainer and start an intensive exercise regimen.

There is 1 medication to assist weight loss in XXXXXXX and it is called Orlistat but it has embarrassing side effects like soiling of undergarments with fat droplets.
