Brief Answer:
Zinc and folic acid supplements can increase sperm count and motility

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the details and understand your situation. Let me tell you that the medicines that you are taking have not been proven to be beneficial. It is just based on some vague notions that gynecologists prescribe these. But the beneficial effect of folic acid and zinc on sperm count and motility have been proven. You can check out the details at:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/0000

I would suggest you to take folvite (folic acid) 5 mg and Cobadex CZS (contains zinc) tablet each once a day for 6 months. I would suggest you to discontinue the other medications that you are taking for this purpose. Repeat your semen analysis after 3-4 months and you would observe the difference.

Thank you so much Sir, Actually the situation is My Wife is having Polycistic ovary,
and irregular period. So We do not have much time in our hand, thats why we are in a hurry to have baby..so I will have time around 6 months more or less.
My question is in this circumstances HCG 5000 will be really helpfull? If what is the chances for my wife regarding conceive complications? and I will follow your medicines and the treatment already I am undergoing both..will it be a issue..?

Brief Answer:
It is important to make sure that your wife is ovulating properly.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

In case of PCOD, giving HCG injection after folliculometry can help her in ovulating. In males too, HCG stimulates the testes to produce testosterone and sperms. But I would suggest not to go for it as the initial resort. The methods that I mentioned would perhaps be more helpful.

For pregnancy to occur, you would have to involve yourselves in unprotected sex every alternate day between the 10th and 18th day of your wife's cycle. Continue it as you take the medications that I suggested. There would be no interactions with the other medicines but I doubt if the others are of use and so would suggest you to discontinue them unless you have other issues.

If your wife conceives, these issues will not act as complicating factors and you can relax about them.

Hope that helps.
