Suggest Treatment To Get Pregnant At The Age Of 40
Question: Hello, Thank you for your time. I thinking of having a tubectomy because I have hydrosalinx and I'm 40. I want to try to have a baby. Do you think a tubectomy or a plastic tube is better at this stage to ensure pregnancy?

40 years is little higher border of reproductive age. It is difficult to conceive even with normal tubes.
Hence I suggest you get ovarian reserve tested by a good IVF centre and check if its worth it.
If less eggs are found please go ahead with IVF treatment straight away without wasting more time.
