Question: Just on the inside of my vaginal lips is a scratch from a partner using his fingers. This was last Wednesday. It's still bleeding a little and a little itchy. Mostly just want to know how long this will take to heal and if I can put antibiotics ointment on it to heal and prevent infection?

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, you can use antibiotic ointment to reduce the risk of infection.

Using a mild antiseptic soap would also reduce infection risk.

You may also want to try sitz baths as well. This would help to soothe the area.

This means sitting in warm water which can have epsom salt or table salt. This can be done for 10 to 15 minutes , 2 to 3 times a day.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
