Brief Answer:
Kindly send picture. Needs antibiotic. Ice. Limb elevation. Clean surrounds

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Thanks for the query.

Do you have pain over the area ?

Do you have fever?

Is there any discharge of fluid coming from the wound ?

Usually regions like the feet, once injured can get infected due to relatively less cleanliness in that region, sweat accumulation such can lead to fungal infection.

Apply ice to the region. Keep the limb elevated. Keep the area clean and dry. Apply antibiotic ointment like Bactroban or Fucidin for about 5 days if the wound isn't swollen or very painful. You can also take oral antibiotic like Tablet Ofloxacin 400mg twice a day after meal for 7 days. Eat healthy and drink plenty of water. Antibiotics are prescription medicines.

Kindly answer my queries and if possible post a picture of your wound for me to be in a better position to help you.

I hope I have answered your query.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu

Brief Answer:
Abscess. It needs to be drained by a Surgical Incision by a Doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

I have viewed your picture of the of the wound.

There seems to be an abscess or collection of pus.

This needs to be drained by a Doctor who will make a small surgical Incision and drain out the pus.

Kindly consult the Emergency Medicine services as soon as possible to prevent the pus from spreading to your blood.
