Question: Hi Doctor,
There is some bad taste and pus coming out from wisdom teeth recently.there are no symptoms like lumps in neck, pain before.so i consulted dentist. After panoramic Xray taken.
There is a small cystic lesion(flesh like substance) under my wisdom teeth.dental surgeon removed that teeth and cyst.Is this cause any future ailments. He suggested some antibiotics(amox) for 5days.everything looks fine now.no swelling,no pain after 5days.but only bad odour in mouth. Is this a bad sign?could you please suggest?

Brief Answer:
Seems like infection..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that there is Dentigerous cyst formation that commonly occurs due to impacted wisdom tooth and surrounds it's neck..

In case if the tooth along with the cyst is removed then you need not to worry as the infection will resolve and gradually bad taste will subside..

You need to continue taking antibiotics for another 5 days and along with it do antiseptic mouthwash gargle and also do warm saline gargles..

Please revert back for further queries..

Regards..
