Brief Answer:
That could be enlarged tonsil.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

The findings of the image:

Uvula noted and its normal.
Left side enlarged tonsilar tissue noted. Located in tonsilar fossa. No congestion and pus pointing noted. If you could send high quality image I can clearly identify more details.

I recommend the following.

1) If there is sore throat, a course of antibiotics.
2) Analgesic like tablet paracetamol for pain relief.
3) Salt water gargling.
4) If you are getting throat pain on and off during to tonsilar enlargement, you might require a surgical removal.
5) Avoid refrigerated foods and cool drinks.

You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.

Thank you so much. I've been reading on the Internet and it tells me that one enlarged tonsil means tonsil cancer. You don't think that's what this is do you?
