Question: Hi Sir,
on 11th sept I tested blood sugar in empty stomach and reports came as 130.but after meal the sugar level is fallng in normal range. The problem I am facing now is I am feeling weakness.get tired after some exercise.i am feeling as if I am loosing stamina from my both legs.
I take rice in weekend twice.mostly I take roti.I am also not having anything which have sugar contents.

sugar found in my blood since last 3-4 years. before the last test it was in the range of 110-120.
I believe that because of my new born baby I had some 3-4 months sleepless nights(no exercise as well) due to which my latest report sugar level came as 130.

Sir please suggest the way forward and suggest if I should take any medicines for now to control the sugar level.
also let me know why I am feeling weakness and feeling that I am loosing stamina from both the legs.
I am doing regular walks now and will test again after 1 month that falls on oct 11 and will share the reports.
Also let me know how much distance I should walk to be on the safe side.some day I walk for 5km and some day 2km.

Brief Answer:
I suggest you continue the lifestyle changes and regular follow up

Detailed Answer:
Dear friend, greetings... and first you need not panic by seeing your report . Just relax and do continue the way you are now , right now you need not take any medications. Just get your lipid profile, microalbuminuria and HbA1c done along with your fasting glucose after 3 months. Let us decide after 3.months if u need medications or not . Regarding your query on walking , 5 km of brisk , fast walking is more than sufficient per day. Practice yoga , pranayama and meditation . Take more of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Food prepared of millets. Thanks a lot . And do ask more if need any clarifications.

Brief Answer:
you can eat chicken occasionally, you need to meet a trained yoga specialit

Detailed Answer:
Dear friend, Greetings again.

Yes you can meet a yoga specialist nearby or even watch videos on you tube by D. XXXXXXX balayogi bavanani. you need to get good proteins, hence you can consume chicken (boiled) once in a week. you take fruits in your diet but avoid fruit juices.

Regarding supplements right now you take Tab. A2Z daily one tablet after your breakfast. regarding your diet chart you can make yourself based on your like and availability of veggies and fruits near you. make sure to cut down carbohydrates.

First stay away from all the fast / processed and fried food stuff. Divide your meal in to 4-5 parts per day whenever you feel hungry. With 2/3 snacks in between. That helps to keep the sugar levels constant throughout the day. Add more of fiber rich food stuffs like green leafy vegetables, raw fruits (not juices), take very less of carbohydrates (rice) avoid sugar completely. Take Millets in boiled form or the breads prepared out of it like ragi, bajra, sorghum, wheat etc., are very good source of micronutrients required for the action of insulin. Take more of protein rich food, like egg white, fish is good source of omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. Moreover, beetroot juice (inorganic nitrate), olive leaves, garlic, turmeric, tamarind also have proven benefits. Say no to oils and cholesterol rich food stuffs. Based on this, with the help of a dietician, you prepare your diet chart and strictly follow it.

Physical activity is very important, play games, walk at least half an hour to one hour a day. This not only helps you to burn calories, but also to relive your stress. Music is another way to relax too. Try and practice yoga, meditation and pranayama. Some aasanas are very easy to practice and also beneficial. Quit smoking (if) and reduce your alcohol intake.

If you can follow these (have to!!) you can definitely see difference yourself by the time you have your next blood investigation report in three months time

Wish you good health. Do feel free to ask more queries.
THANK YOU
