Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Loose Motions While On Januvia

Question: My husband has just started diabetes treatment. He is on Januvia 100mg. His blood sugar is Fasting 136 and PP 180. Yesterday he got mild food poisoning.He has been vomited thrice and has loose motions. Please suggest treatment and also advise if he can be given electral for rehydration.

Also, can give Cap Zedott 100 mg thrice daily for three days. This will control his loose stools.

Meanwhile let him continue his medication Januvia.

If the loose stools do not stop within three days, he must visit to the hospital.
