Brief Answer:
Cyclic vulvovaginitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

What you mention to have is cyclic vulvovaginitis. This is common in many women. You need to get vaginal smear and swab for culture and sensitivity during the itching time. The most common reason for this problem is candidal fungus infection. If the culture shows this you should get a vaginal candidal cream for 15 days and before each period. If the culture does not show any organism then you should better use pads instead of tampons, cotton undergarments and baking soda sitz baths all those days before you go out and once you are back home. Put baking soda in hot water tub and sit in it for 10 minutes. This will help you. Use Vagiwash as well during these days.

Hope this helps.
