Brief Answer:
Take anti-histamines and imiquimod; can opt for definitive treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I understand your concern.
Genital warts are common skin conditions caused by human papilloma virus or HPV. Your doctor has done a PAP smear for diagnosis of that only. Generally warts dont have symptoms but itching might occur as in your case.
Your doctor has suggested you xylocaine which contains lignocaine, a local anesthetic which soothes the area. Though it has not worked yet, I would ask you to continue it for a few more days.
Alongwith, take oral anti-histamines like levocetrizine or fexofenadine twice a day. This should help.
Maintain genital hygiene.
You can use imiquimod cream locally which is used to treat genital warts. It has got some good feedback.
I would also suggest definitive treatment of warts once diagnosis is confirmed.
It will include processes like liquid nitrogen freezing of the area or laser therapy.
But I should conclude that warts have a high chance of recurrence and it might take time and multiple procedures for cure.

You can consult your treating doctor about the above and get them prescribed.

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Reports are okay

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thank you for writing back.

I have gone through your report and it seems alright. Some inflammatory changes are found which is why you were having itching and other symptoms.
If your symptoms are subsided then you need not necessarily go to your doctor. However, if your doctor has asked for a follow-up with reports, then you can visit him. Otherwise it is not essential.

Hope this was useful.
Wish you good health.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Might be low grade infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
It might be because of some low grade infection- bacterial or fungal.
Hormonal changes or allergic reaction may result in similar reports too.
I believe you need not undergo any tests right now as the problem has resolved.
If it recurs, then it will be better to consult a gynaecologist and get investigations done as suggested.

Dont worry, relax.
Regards.
