Brief Answer:
LOCAL ESTROGEN CREAMS WILL HELP

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
After menopause, there is local deficiency of estrogen in the vaginal tissues.
This makes the vagina dry, brittle and delicate - easily prone to infections, spotting, friction etc.
This condition is called atrophic vaginitis.
The vaginal tissues undergo atrophy due to hormonal deficiency.
The treatment is local estrogen gels and creams.
The diagnosis has to be confirmed by your doctor by an internal examination ( per vaginum and per speculum ).
Also, using a good lubricant during intercourse will help.
All the best
