Suggest Treatment For Urinary Tact Infection During Pregnancy
Question: Hi my wife is a four week pregnant and she has an urine infection. Following are the observations.

I understand your health concern.
It is too premature to comment as I would like you to get a ruins culture done and see if there is bacterial infection too.
In my opinion she should start an antibiotic at the earliest and thus eliminate and minimal risk of abortion which is there because of long standing urinary infection.
Please tell her to take a lot of water and cranberry juice and avoid intercourse till relieved of symptoms.
